A weekend in Santa Barbara
A recap: what we ordered at San Ysidro Ranch, 3 new favorite spots, plus a hit-list for my next trip
I was so excited to head back to Santa Barbara last weekend to celebrate our 7th anniversary. I wanted to share some of my favorite moments and spots from this trip. We visited a couple new places and I’ve added more to my SB hit list!
We had a quick lunch at Bettina, which I had been wanting to try for a while. It was delish! I particularly loved the Caesar and the prosciutto + Castelvetrano olive pizza.
I popped into a couple shops at the country mart, including Dôen of course.
Fell in love with this shop: Mate Gallery.
Friday night, we decided to go to San Ysidro Ranch to celebrate our 7th anniversary. It is one of our favorite places in California. There is nowhere more romantic and iconic for a special occasion like this. We had been to the ranch before, but this time felt extra special. I wanted to give you all the details on our visit so you can save for a future trip to SB!

Before dinner, we visited the Speakeasy experience below the Stonehouse Restaurant. The vibe: Old Hollywood glam, swanky, a warm fire, and tinis.
We had the best seat in the house at dinner and a perfect view of the sunset.
The cocktail menu is quite overwhelming (in the best way), but I am obsessed with the orange margarita. They also offer a “smoked” experience where they smoke your cocktail table-side and it’s always fun to watch.
Everything on the menu is artistic, fresh, and curated to perfection. A food lovers dream.
