Shopping Thoughts, My Rose Bowl Flea Tips, and a Side of Vintage Beaded Bags
My flea market diary. Sharing the seller of my vintage Levi's, too.
You have probably picked up that I enjoy scouring the internet or a flea market for fun, vintage bags. I had been wanting a beaded bag, but was overwhelmed by all of the options every time I’d open Etsy to search for the one. Something about me: I am definitely a nervous and anxious shopper. In fact, it does not come easy for me. I always convince myself there is something more I need to be looking for, which is never fun when you’re trying to shop, because the truth is, there will always be more out there. I love exploring all of the options, but that can truly be exhausting. I think that’s why I enjoy shopping in person via retail spaces or market-style settings. Your options are laid out right in front of you, and the anxiety of needing to see all of the other options dissipates, at least for me. My point here? I think in person shopping somehow relaxes me a bit. And I get the chance to take it slow and avoid hours-long scrolling frenzies.
Over the weekend, I visited the Rose Bowl Flea Market and the perfect vintage, beaded bag found me. While this market can be one of the most overwhelming places to shop, I find it so special that in a sea of random items, you might come across exactly what you’ve been looking for.

Since I shared this beautiful piece, so many of you have asked if I could find some similar ones! So I did some searching with my trusty, old friend Etsy and compiled a bunch of fabulous options for you.
