The Go: September in New York City
Everything I wore, ate and shopped last week in NYC!
Last week, I was lucky to spend some time in NYC. I’ve only ever been to New York a handful of times, so each time I get to visit feels super special. The occasion: New York Fashion Week and Jimmy’s work trip overlapping, which could not have worked out more perfectly. It felt so special to celebrate our engagement with some of our friends that happened to be in the city that weekend too.
I’m not super well versed with the city’s geography yet, and I probably rely on Ubers an offensive amount to any New Yorker. The best part of the week was being able to connect with so many of my creator friends and hang with everyone in one place! It felt surreal. I even got to meet a couple of you, and you could not have been sweeter and more supportive. And of course, admiring so much of the fashion all around the city. I couldn’t be more grateful to all of the brands that invited me to their events and presentations, I truly feel so honored.
My NYC trip planning took a back seat to my engagement (which I didn’t know was happening only a couple weeks before!!), so I didn’t plan much going into the week.. everything came together on the fly, and it ended up being so great. I am grateful for all of the friends that made me feel so welcomed during an overwhelming week, met up with me last minute and even let me crash their reservations!!
