The Go: We had Paris!

Everything I wanted to pack into a few days in Paris. What I wore, shopped and ate!

A special, impromptu, and magical trip. Visited a lot of new (to me) spots, and hope you find some inspiration to add to your next Paris trip itinerary!

Everything I wore:

CO polo sweater (got last year, but final sale in a couple sizes here) and Argent pants

Loved this Janessa Leone hooded scarf and Isabel Marant coat (I can’t find online but it is the Theodore Coat from last year)

Free People Waxed Jacket with an exaggerated cord collar (love) FYI: don’t wear a light sweater with this waxed material - SOS

Free People taffeta halter top - perfect for the holidays and these dreamy Levi’s 501 90s (my fav Levi’s style if you’re buying new!)

Shopping was pretty minimal only because a lot was closed on Sunday (first day there).. and Monday due to the bank holiday! We got to go to Le Bon Marchè which is always fabulous, but with the holiday shoppers, I was super overwhelmed (let’s normalize shopping anxiety)! My only regret is I didn’t get an ornament for this year’s tree.. Will try again next time.

I was on the hunt for Chanel flats but they were all out of anything I wanted in my size in all of France (telling myself it was not my time!). Loved this tweed though:

The minute I knew I was getting this jacket from Soeur

The last opportunity to hit most of the shopping list was on my last day when I wasn’t feeling too hot.. (I’ll spare you the post-wisdom-teeth-removal-recovery drama). While I rested, Jimmy went to all the shops I was hoping to hit and picked up some things I wanted to get while in Paris! Sadly, no vintage shopping but I am coming in hot next time! Jimmy’s route: Hervé Chapelier, La Bonne Brosse, Louise Carmen, and Merci.. (haul coming soon…)

Paris is tassel heaven

We popped into a little wine and tapas bar (Le Comptoir de la Traboule) and I found the best wine I’ve ever had in my life. Take this rec lightly as I am no wine-o but personally my favorite I’d ever had. A reminder to go off the plan sometimes because you might find your new favorites (Jimmy advice, of course). It was a white blend: Herbes Folles Blanc, Clement Baraut 2022
