What I looked forward to

The last two weeks have felt like eternity! I thought it would be nice to have a little catch up of all I have been up to. First up, I had a huge photo shoot for Starling. I am the Marketing Director at Starling, so the shoots are always a big project. It was so fun to plan this year, especially. More on that soon! Then, one of my best friends got engaged (!!!), so there was some fun flower arranging duties on my agenda. I’ve been looking forward to some beautiful things around me and have some snippets from the last week to share. So while I watch the Oscar’s, I’ll write this Substack:
Last week, I wasn’t in the mood to watch anything except Love is Blind and movies from my childhood. I threw on Under the Tuscan Sun with the intention to keep it on as background noise, but I was captivated and I couldn’t resist fully tuning in. It felt comforting to rewatch something I first watched with my Mom and sisters. A few days later, I watched Georgia Rule and had that same feeling of comfort and nostalgia.
On set with Starling:
I basically brought my entire closet to the shoot. It was so fun styling each look around our jewelry. We used my butter yellow pants for one of the looks and it was just perfect. I brought my camera and snapped things through my POV all day. It is so fun to see the progression of the shoot behind the scenes. Beautiful shoes and objects borrowed from the fabulous,
